I made my first Bunny/Viera ears following this tutorial. Well.. It's awesome for beginners. There was no single problem and they turned out so awesome for my first try.
I'm really thankful!
The tutorial simply amazing and very helpful to not only myself, but several friends and more.

Btw, at lowes you can get 100 feet of floral wire 24 gauge for the same price as the 7 foot one at Joanns.
What does the 24 gauge mean btw, does it mean it'll be lighter.
I'm also gonna be using blizzard fleece, do you think that will be too heavy?
-It's cool that you found cheaper wire. Go for it. I buy at Joann's because the closest hardware store to me is across town. It really don't matter where you get it from, honestly, as long as it's not prone to rust or discoloration. Plus, I don't need 100 feet of floral wire for these ears; I would rather pay for the amount I need, and not have extra wire just floating about. I don't have much space at my place, sadly.
-The 'gauge' of a wire measures how thick it is. Here is a link to the wiki article that will, hopefully, clear things up, as I'm not really an expert on wire. The only thing that will affect how heavy the wire feels is what it's actually made out of. I usually use painted copper floral wire, but that's just personal tastes.
-The type of fleece used for the ears doesn't matter- there is too little fabric for it to be of any consequence. You could use several layers if you wanted to, and I'm sure it would be just fine.
Hope that clears up your questions.
