SISM - Sailor Moon - Corset - Back

I never really got around to posting the more detailed pictures of the Steampunk-Inspired Sailor Moon costumes I made last year.

A detailed pic of the back and wings. The corset is made from upholstery leather and has plastic boning. It's in two separate pieces, that are tied together with thick rope that threads through gold eyelets up each side, and tie at the bottom. I hand-sewed over 100 faux flowers, each with one to three faux pears as centers. The wings are a permanent fixture in the back, with ribbon-wrapped wire strands attaching it to the corset, but also making the wings moveable. The wings themselves are made with a craft-foam center, with real, dyed feathers. The trim is simple cotton bias tape that was hand-sewn on. The seam down the very back is also hand-sewn, faux-pearls.
